Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for the activity of collaborators you invite. Keep your credentials secure and give us accurate information.

Plans, credits & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Each plan includes a monthly credit allotment consumed by AI generations; credits do not constitute currency and have no cash value. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not provide pro-rata refunds. Plan limits, prices and credit costs may change; material changes will be communicated in advance.

Acceptable use

You may not use CineSketch to create, or attempt to create, illegal content — in particular any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors (CSAM). Violations result in immediate suspension and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement and child-safety authorities. Subject to the section below, you retain rights to the content you lawfully create, subject to the licenses needed to operate the service.

Consequences of a ban

If your account is suspended or terminated for a violation of these terms — in particular any attempt to create prohibited content involving minors — the following apply immediately and without notice:

• All unused credits are forfeited and have no cash value; they are not refundable in whole or in part.
• No refund of any subscription payment will be made, including on a pro-rata basis.
• You forfeit any right, title, licence or claim to the projects, boards, images, characters and other content associated with the account, and you may permanently lose access to it.
• We will retain the account, its content, the prompts used and related records for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and to assist law enforcement and child-safety authorities, and such records cannot be deleted on request.

These measures are in addition to any other rights or remedies available to us at law.

AI-generated content

Generated images are produced by third-party models and provided as-is. You are responsible for how you use them and for securing any rights needed for your final production.

Generation results, defects & credits

AI generation is inherently variable. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy or suitability of any generated output — images and video clips can contain artifacts and mistakes (hands, faces, text, small details, physics), and the same request can produce different results each time. The more direction you give (a clearer drawing, a fuller description), the better the results tend to be — but no particular outcome is promised.

• A completed generation consumes its credits (or video clip) regardless of whether you like the result. Disliking, discarding or deleting an output does not entitle you to a refund of the credits spent on it.
• If a generation fails for a technical reason (a provider error, a timeout), the credits or clip are automatically returned to your balance.
• If a request is blocked by our content screening or refused by the model provider’s safety systems, the credits or clip are not refunded and the account may be suspended for review, as described under Acceptable use.

Defects in generated output are a characteristic of the underlying AI models, not a fault in the service, and do not constitute grounds for refunds, credit reinstatement or other compensation.

Availability & liability

We work to keep CineSketch available and reliable but provide the service “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months.

Account deletion & retention

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your projects, images and generated content are destroyed, any subscription is cancelled, and all remaining credits, packs and video clips are forfeited without refund. Nothing is restored if you later create a new account. To prevent abuse of free allowances, we retain your account record for 30 days after deletion, during which the same email cannot be used to sign up again. Accounts suspended for policy violations cannot be self-deleted and may be retained indefinitely where the law requires it.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
