Tutorials

From first board to full crew, in 4 short films.

Each step is about a minute. Follow them in order and you’ll go from a blank project to a collaborative, AI-refined storyboard.

  1. 01

    Create your first project

Set up a project, add your first scenes, and lay out shot cards on the board. Everything in StoryViz starts here — one project per film or episode, scenes to group your story beats, and a card for every shot.

  2. 02

    Using the shot canvas

Open any shot card and sketch it — brush, eraser, layers, and a locked background you can color or replace with an image. Then send your sketch to AI and choose exactly how finished it should look, from rough sketch to photoreal. Every generation is saved as a version you can step back to.

  3. 03

    Creating consistent characters

Design each character once in their final look. StoryViz back-builds their full style ladder, and typing @name in a shot description keeps their face, wardrobe and silhouette consistent in every cell you generate.

    Collaboration

Invite your team to a project, check out shots to edit them without stepping on each other, and follow who changed what with notifications and per-shot history. Boards stay in sync, and the whole crew works from one source of truth.

Seen enough?

Your first project is free — no card, no catch. Draw your first shot badly and watch it become the frame you imagined.
