What we collect

Account information — your name, email, team name and marketing preferences, provided at sign-up and managed through our authentication provider (Clerk). Content — the projects, scenes, shots, drawings, descriptions, characters and generated images you create. Billing — handled by Stripe; we store a customer reference and subscription status but never your full card details. Usage — activity needed to run the service, such as credit transactions and edit history.

How we use it

To provide and operate CineSketch, process payments, keep your team’s work in sync, prevent abuse, and — where you’ve opted in — send product updates. We do not sell your personal data.

Your content

Your projects are private to you and the collaborators you invite. We process the images and text you submit through our AI providers solely to generate the results you request.

Content safety

We screen generation requests for illegal content. Where required by law we retain evidence of violations in a restricted, access-controlled store for reporting to the appropriate authorities; such records are isolated and not accessible through the normal application.

Retention & your rights

You may access, correct or delete your account and content, subject to legal retention obligations. Self-service deletion is available from your account page: your projects and images are destroyed immediately, while your account record is retained for 30 days (to prevent abuse of free allowances) and then anonymized — after which the email can be reused. Accounts suspended for policy violations may be retained for as long as the law requires. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
