Terms of Use
Last updated July 2026
This is a plain-language template and not legal advice. Have it reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on it in production.
These Terms of Use govern how you interact with the CineSketch website and application. By using the site you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully.
Permitted use
Use CineSketch only for its intended purpose — creating and managing storyboards. Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ content.
Content responsibility
You are responsible for everything you upload, draw, prompt or generate. Do not submit content you don’t have the rights to, or that is unlawful. Requests are automatically screened, and prohibited content results in suspension.
Intellectual property
The CineSketch name, interface and software are our property. The boards and images you create remain yours, subject to the licenses needed to operate and improve the service.
Accounts & collaborators
Team owners are responsible for the collaborators they invite and for managing project access. Removing a collaborator revokes their access to shared projects.
AI generation results
AI-generated images and clips are variable by nature and can contain defects — we don’t guarantee any particular result, and a completed generation uses its credits whether or not you keep the output. Technical failures are refunded automatically; requests blocked by content screening or provider safety systems are not. See the Terms of Service for the full clause.
Termination & consequences of a ban
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Where an account is banned for prohibited content — in particular content involving minors — all unused credits are forfeited with no refund (including pro-rata), you forfeit any claim to and access to the content associated with the account, and we will retain the account, its content and the prompts used for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and to assist law enforcement. See our Terms of Service for the full clause.
